Leek & chervil soup

Did you know that leek cultivation is one of the most important outdoor vegetable farming activities in Flanders? Indeed, Belgium offers ideal conditions for leek cultivation, thanks to its climate and fertile land. This allows for year-round production of leeks, although summer leeks are less suitable for soup. Our mission is to highlight this vegetable, and what better accompaniment than chervil?

Chervil soup has an intense flavour. You can add a touch of crème fraiche to make it a little creamier. If you’d like to add a little unique flavour, you can add slices of pan-fried frankfurter sausage with a dash of black pepper.

Water, 15% leek, 10% chervil, CELERI, onion, potato, olive oil, salt, vegetable stock [contains: 27% vegetables], white pepper. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF EGG, WHEAT AND MILK.
